Covid-19 Victoria Update:
***LATEST UPDATE - 28/10/2020***
As Melbourne steps out of "Stay Home" Stage 4 Lockdown and into "Stay Safe" Stage 3 as of midnight, our premises is open for retail business. This means that our vehicle sales yard is now open for viewing / test drives & you can drop in and talk to our knowledgable parts department.
Face masks that are approved by the DHHS are compulsory, as is giving your details so we can enter you into our COVID-Safe Plan registry. It is imperative that you adhere to the signs around the premises, including social distancing & the limits to the maximum number of people in each section of our workplace.
***IMPORTANT: Please do not visit us if you are feeling unwell or if you are waiting for results of a COVID test. ***
We reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises if you do not comply with the above.
Stay safe, do your bit and we'll beat this.

***UPDATE - 06/08/2020***
With Stage 4 restrictions kicking in overnight, the health and safety of our customers are of our greatest concern. We’ll therefore be operating in a different manner for the next 6 weeks.
We’ll still be open for essential maintenance, repairs and registrations of commercial vehicles. You’ll need to call ahead and pre book so we can make sure we can serve you within our COVID Safe plan.
Sales of vehicles and parts will strictly be either online at www.cbtc.com.au or on the phone (03) 9303 2222. Unfortunately you won’t be able to visit our yard with the intention to purchase vehicles, so viewings / test drives will not be possible. We will be happy to FaceTime / video walkthrough of any vehicle you would like information on.
All customers will have to pre pay for goods and decide whether to do a contactless call and collect in a designated zone, or get the goods shipped to your door.
We will have a staging area set up for any incoming goods deliveries with safety measures in place, and we ask everyone who comes in, whether it be for servicing / call and collect etc, to stay in your vehicles and comply with the measures we have put in place, for your and our safety which can include providing contact details for our visitor register and using sanitizer. We will ask anyone who refuses to comply to leave the premises.
Obviously if you are feeling unwell, or have any of the symptoms related to COVID-19, please do not come in. You should get tested and self isolate at home pending results.

As we fall under the classfication by the Australian Government of an essential business, we are open for business and although it is not business as per usual, the team at CBTC are taking every step possible to protect our customers and ourselves during this unprecedented time.
We have taken the following steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone we can whilst being open for business:
- Hand sanitizer stations at our front office which we ask you to please use when entering and exiting our premises
- Cordoned-off sections at front reception where we ask customers to keep their distance and pay by card if possible instead of cash.
- Sanitizing doors, door handles and high traffic areas multiple times a day
- Strict compliance with the social distancing protocols - which may mean test-driving of vehicles may not be possible. We are happy to video call you with a comprehensive walk around and answer any questions you may have regarding any of our stock items
- Educating employees & customers that if they are not feeling well, they are not to come into work
The other options instead of coming in to our premises, is to buy online or call us.
